The impressive backdrop of the Kaiser Mountains forms the basis for the hiking area on the high plateau from Brentenjoch to the Steinbergalms. This is where a habitat, registered as a nature reserve for over 60 years, begins. Here, nature and plant life, animals, and alpine farming have formed a symbiosis for centuries. It is an ideal starting point for tours into the Kaiser Mountains, the Kaisertal, and around the Wilden Kaiser. The Kaiserlift is available as a means of ascent, allowing even those who are not very athletic to enjoy unforgettable experiences and views in the mountains. The Kufstein Kaiserlift brings all nature lovers to the high plateau of the Steinbergalms. The new single-chair lift is not only the first step to effortlessly reach the mountain but also a "pleasure transport" on the path of deceleration. At an altitude of 1200 m, visitors are welcomed by intact nature, glorious hiking trails, panoramic peaks, and a traditional hut culture. Consciousness places highlight the value of nature and wildlife against the majestic backdrop of the Kaiser Mountains in the nature reserve.
Exploring with experts in the nature reserve - this is possible from May to October with special themed tours focusing on animal and plant life, geology, the elements in the mountains, and much more.
