Tour description

"The face of the earth" - a short hiking tour leading to insights regarding the evolution of the beautiful Kaiser Mountains.

After the leisurely ride with the Kaiserlift, you will discover the first board of the geology trail directly at the mountain station. The path then leads towards the Weinbergerhaus around the Brentenjoch. After the forest, the geology trail follows the Panoramaweg in the direction of the Brentenalm and back up to the mountain station.
The processes that led to the formation of the Kaisergebirge are presented at 9 stations. One learns interesting facts about the substructure of these mountains and about constantly running processes that still change the "face of the earth", about past continents and mountains, about seas that opened and closed again. What remained was a skin with scars and wrinkles, our earth's surface.

Tip: During a guided tour with our geologist, these processes are explained in the right order and described in an exciting way.

The Kaisergebirge as a contemporary witness knows how to tell all these stories! Let us learn his language!
