The easy, but condition demanding panoramic round tour to the Aschinger-Alm in front of the magnificent backdrop of the Zahmen Kaiser offers a gigantic view of the Inntal and the Walchsee. For gourmets, a visit to the cheese dairy at the Aschinger Alm is worthwhile. On the way back, you can recharge your batteries at the St. Nikolaus Church.
Starting from the center in the Haflinger village Ebbs, Kirchplatz, the Kaiserbergstraße (between church and Oberwirt) leads towards Buchberg.
The path goes steadily asphalted uphill past Café Zacherl and numerous charming mountain farms to Oberbuchberg. After an approx. 500m long flat section, you ride through a short forest passage and finally via Gasthof Kölnberg, which invites you to take a break, to Alpengasthof Aschinger-Alm. Here you can feast on Tyrolean cuisine to your heart's content. The descent runs with short flat passages directly below the Aschinger-Alm to the left through a piece of forest over a gravel road to Asching to the hikers' parking lot (route Aschinger-Alm-Tour). From there turn left over the asphalt road past the power place St. Nikolaus church and a short steep piece downhill back to Ebbs.
