The race course for the World Masters Games Kössen-St. Johann is a moderately difficult course through woodlands and fields.
First, enjoy an easy warm-up from Kufstein to Kössen. Keep in mind that you are tackling a route used by the best cyclists in Europe - the official race route for the World Cup race. From Kössen, a country road runs to Erpfendorf, and on to St. Johann in Tirol. Just before the town limits, the route turns off to the Wilder Kaiser mountain range. You gain altitude fast while taking in the impressive views. After a descent to Schwendt there is another short push uphill before a fast run into the valley to finish the world cup circuit in Kössen. On the return leg to Kufstein spin back down on the same route, until near Rettenschöss, you take to a slightly alternative route.
