From the pearl of Tyrol to the south

The Tour of the Alps is a mountainous race that demands a lot and impresses with the beauty of the region. The Tyrolean natural landscape accompanies the international teams on the first day through the region around the fortress town. Numerous vertical meters and alpine terrain impress in the following days. In a total of five stages, the Tour of the Alps connects the three regions of Tyrol, South Tyrol and Trentino, which have joined forces to form the Euregio. The Tour of the Alps is considered the successor of the forty years successfully held Giro del Trentino.

Enormous is the media environment around the cycling event. Via TV, PC and mobile devices, the Tour of the Alps will reach 70 countries worldwide in the first year, making it a constant in the world of cycling.
