Walleralm - a natural paradise! Walleralm is located at 1,170 meters above sea level, at the foot of Zettenkaiserkopf, a pre-summit of the Zettenkaiser / Wilder Kaiser. The view of Alpine meadows is beautiful at any time of year, but especially in spring when the Alpine area offers a sea of flowers. Later in the year, and into autumn, the cows graze here. It has a panoramic view, from the Kitzbühler Horn to Hohe Salve and down the Inn Valley, and in the background you can see the glaciers of Hohen Tauern. Only late in autumn do we leave the Walleralm with the last of our guests, and close up for the winter.
You can enjoy breakfast on the mountain every day from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. Sausage, cheese, coffee, tea, homemade jams, various types of bread, and much more.
Accessibility: from Hintersteinersee (forestry road from Pension Maier at the end of the lake or from the Seestüberl at the start of the lake), each about a 1 hour walk, from Eiberg 1 hour and 15 minutes, from Kaindlhütte 1 hour
