Obere Steinbergalm - Kufstein

Arriving at the Kaiserlift Kufstein at Brentenjoch, a wonderful view opens up towards the Wilder Kaiser.  Those who pay close attention can already see the Upper Steinberg Alm at 1318 m from afar, which lies directly at the foot of the Scheffauer. From the mountain station, you follow the forest path moderately downhill, following the signs, and reach the Upper Steinberg Alm in about 1.5 hours. It is located on a beautiful plateau surrounded by lush alpine meadows. The Alm can be reached either via the Gamskogel circular path or by the Kaindlhütte, immediately after the chapel on the left, following the direction signs. Here you can indulge in homemade dishes and drinks while enjoying an imperial view. See for yourself the stunning backdrop and let your soul truly unwind.
