HEATHER NOVA - Tour 2025
Heather Nova became famous in 1994 with her debut album “Oyster”. The cool, infectious songs from “Oyster” put her firmly on the indie pop map and reached the charts worldwide. Since then, she has repeatedly released critically acclaimed albums and is back on tour in 2025, playing a concert in Vienna as well as another on March 16 at the Kultur Quartier in Kufstein. What has earned Heather a loyal fan base, however, are her live performances. Known for her incredibly powerful, yet often described as “angelic” voice, she performs at major rock festivals with a full band just as impressively as she captivates audiences in intimate theaters with just a cellist as accompaniment. In the more than 30 years since her beginnings, she has toured continuously and her shows always sell out quickly. “Live music is beyond the sum of its parts,” she says. ”Something magical happens that I can't fully control; I just let go, open up and let the music come through me. The audience brings in their emotions and their energy, and the synergy is born. This tour will be an eclectic mix of acoustic, cello-driven pieces combined with synthesizers, beats and percussion. She will be playing a combination of brand new material from her upcoming album and older “fan favorites”. “Live music plays a more important role today than ever before,” says Heather. “Concerts create a moment of unification, community and harmony when there is so much division in the world today.
