The Kranzhorn at 1,230 m: Alpine enjoyment and Tyrolean coziness. Located directly on the Bavarian-Tyrolean border, the Kranzhorn is one of the most famous lookout mountains in the Tyrolean Unterland. Since the border between Tyrol and Bavaria runs directly over the summit, a Tyrolean and a Bavarian summit cross have been erected. There are several ascent options, making it just as suitable for seniors or family hikes as it is for the demanding mountain hiker.

The rustic mountain hut is a alpine economy that offers hospitality at its finest. The kitchen serves not only traditional mountain fare but also regional specialties and sweet treats. The rustic alpine parlor (50 seats and two cozy sleeping quarters) invites you to enjoy fun mountain evenings with friends (reservation requested). A refreshment is guaranteed at the Kranzhorn Alm.

Especially recommended is the breakfast on the mountain. As part of this, two types of breakfasts are offered, including homemade jams and spreads.

In very bad weather, the hut may also close earlier - please inquire by phone if necessary. In summer, with advance notice, also open longer than 8:00 PM).
