From gentle to challenging

The Kufsteinerland with the fortress town close to nature and the eight picturesque villages is an El Dorado for cyclists thanks to the diverse Tirolean natural landscape. Leisurely routes in the valley. Along the Inn River. Through meadows and forests. Those who love a challenge will find plenty in the mountains. From gentle climbs to tours in high alpine terrain, the Tirolean mountains of the Kufsteinerland offer countless routes. Due to the proximity to the Bavarian Lake District with the Bavarian Sea, the Chiemsee, in the centre of it, you will find ideal conditions for extended tours with moderate climbs. At the same time you can surmount a huge altitude difference, wheter if you ride Voralp passes such as the Sudelfeld pass or you climb famous summits such as the Kitzbüheler Horn. The Kufsteinerland as part of the world's biggest e-bike region is optimally positioned with regard to service, rental and recharging stations for the e-bikes. Road cyclists enjoy the multifaceted route options. Specially surveyed tours beckon to enjoy road cycling. The athletic competition highlight for road cyclists since 2016 is the Kufsteinerland Cycling Marathon straight through the Kufsteinerland with attractive side events for all things bicycle. Our highlight bike tours - Kaiserradrunde (Kaiser bike tour) & Pölvenradrunde (Pölven tour)

The Kaiserradrunde (Kaiser bike tour) takes cyclists around the massif of the Kaisergebirge mountains over a distance of 80 kilometres and 700 metres in altitude. The route is almost exclusively on gravelled or asphalt cycle paths or quiet side roads. It is possible to stop at various places to enjoy Tyrolean specialities or to admire nature. The starting point can be chosen freely.

The Pölvenradrunde (Pölven tour) is shorter. Around the Pölven mountain, 30 kilometres of signposted cycle paths with the Pölvenradrunde logo wind through idyllic hamlets at the foot of the "Kamelrücken - Camel back", as some locals call it. The starting point can be chosen freely, and it is worthwhile to stop for a bite to eat in all the villages.
