In addition, the gourmet restaurant Atelier "Freund-Schafft" in the Panorama Royal enchants all those who want an enchanting evening with their loved ones. A spectacular 8-course menu awaits those who can reserve a seat in advance. The kitchen team has even been awarded 3 toques by Gault Millau. An award that makes chef Markus Freund particularly proud.
"I discovered a great passion for cooking by chance. I had to abandon my training at the Zell am Ziller Tourism School due to a stroke of fate, but I was able to successfully complete the subsequent double apprenticeship, among others at the Gasthof Marschall in Stans and at Gut Matzen in Brixlegg.
After that, my path led me to the Hotel Lamark in Fügen, where I was able to develop the culinary development of what was then the second best restaurant in Tyrol together with Alexander Fankhauser. When I was only 22 years old, I became head chef at the Böglerhof in Alpbach.
Since I completed my further training as a master chef six years ago, I have been a member of the examination board for master chefs, vice chairman of the Tyrolean Cooking Association and board member of the Austrian Cooking Association.
I have been working at the Hotel Panorama Royal in Bad Häring for two years now. With the opening of the Freund-Schafft studio in May 2023, a big dream has come true. My team and I have made a successful start and have set ourselves the goal of maintaining this high level and continuing to build on it."

- Gourmet Royal Gala Dinner: By reservation only. The 8-course menu offers an outstanding culinary experience for the palate and heart and can be booked at any time except Wednesday and Sunday
