The ski area Zahmer Kaiser in Durchholzen is ideal for families. Far away from the big skiing areas, here the pistes are quiet and friendly. Relaxed skiing and snowboarding on the gently sloping north-facing slopes of the Kaiser Mountains, the breathtaking Tirolean alpine world all around. Ski slopes like tailor-made for beginners, families with children, leisure skiers, those taking up skiing again.
Skiing for young and old
15 kilometres of groomed slopes. A 4-seat chairlift. Nine lifts. The ten wide downhill runs provide clear views and plenty of space for wide turns. Magic carpet. Mogul training run. Indian teepee. Snow tunnel. The ski area Zahmer Kaiser is a paradise for children. Dedicated Bambini courses by the ski school Zahmer Kaiser allow for child-friendly introduction to the great fun in the snow. From the first wide turn to successful deep snow downhill skiing. The ski school Zahmer Kaiser, in addition to the Bambini courses, also offers group and individual lessons for skiers and snowboarders, for beginners and the advanced. For all those who want to be proficient away from the slopes, the ski school Zahmer Kaiser provides tips and training sessions on all things snowshoe hiking and cross-country skiing.
Skiing and more
Three kilometres of rapid winter fun. 400 metres drop in altitude down into the valley. Apart from fun on the slopes, snow lovers will also find a groomed winter toboggan run at the upper terminus of the 4-seat chairlift. Those who want can rent a toboggan on site. The toboggan can be easily transported on the cable car. High up on the Aschinger Alm, cross-country skiers will also strike gold. The high-altitude cross-country ski track provides reliable snow conditions and a four-kilometre long cross-country skiing paradise.
Ski rentals & Ski bus
Those who don't want to carry their skiing gear to the holiday destination or prefer renting instead of buying it, simply head for the local Brandauer ski rental outlet. To get to the family-friendly ski area, the ski bus provided by Kufsteinerland is available. The ski bus goes daily from Ebbs and Niederndorf to Durchholzen and Kössen. No registration required, trips on the ski bus or free.
