Ice curling in Ebbs or Kufstein

Covered ‘Hallo du’ fun arena for ice curling
The covered curling track at the ‘Hallo Du’ leisure centre in Ebbs is ideal for a sociable curling session. And you can enjoy views of the surrounding mountains throughout. The 10 artificial ice lanes allow you to engage in a little competition too. The weekly programme of the Kufsteinerland tourist board offers curling at the ‘Hallo Du’ centre with booking a day in advance required. Some 48 curling sticks are available from the tourist board – and participation is free-of-charge with the Kufsteinerland Card. Catering: Restaurant ‘Ebbser Trattoria’

Covered Kufstein Arena curling track
The Kufstein Arena ice sports facility comprises a covered ice rink and Canadian outdoor rink, both linked together. Ice curling is offered here with advance booking available. Curling tracks: covered ice surface: 60 x 30 m, Canadian ice surface: 56 x 26 m. Catering: modern buffet, open during the public visiting hours.

Sledging evening

A fun sledging session as a fun evening experience or afternoon activity! After a beautiful walk and refreshment break at one of the traditional mountain lodges, this activity is the perfect addition to your event in Kufsteinerland. You will walk for approx. 1 to 1.5 hours to a mountain lodge. Here you and your guests can enjoy a hot chocolate or mulled wine and recharge your batteries with some typical Tyrolean cuisine, if you wish. Either during the day or in the evening when the toboggan run is lit up and the lights sparkle down in the valley. You can then hire a wellprepared sledge from the lodge and race back down into the valley. The Kufstein locals love it and your congress participants will too!

Winter walk / Snow shoe walk

Kufsteinerland offers some excellent opportunities for winter and show shoe walks with a range of difficulty ratings. Together with the trained guides from the Kufsteinerland tourist board, you can explore the idyllic mountains of Tyrol and experience some special moments.

Horse-drawn sledge rides

The Ebbs Stud Farm is the oldest Haflinger stud farm in the world and is a centre for international Haflinger breeding. Each year, stallions are trained here and new generations of Haflingers are reared. Enjoy a tranquil sledge ride through the snowy nature of Ebbs with your team and feel the power of these magnificent animals.

Taking a horse-drawn carriage from the Kalkschmiedhof Ebbs is a wild and romantic way to travel. The route leads over meadows and through forests, past the Schanzer Teich pond and through the extensive Inntal valley near Ebbs. The duration and route can be decided on an individual basis and can take you through the town of Kufstein or Kufsteinerland by night.

If you wish to share this experience with multiple people, you can book group tours for up to 50 people at the Salitererhof in Ebbs. Here too, the Halfinger horses offer carriage rides through the Kufsteinerland winter landscape for a special experience in nature.
