Regional organic cheese – Hatzenstädt Cheese Dairy

Cheese production has a long-standing tradition in Kufsteinerland. Cheese has been produced since the Middle Ages at many of the mountain farms in Tyrol. The first documented mention of cheese production on the Niederndorferberg dates back to the year 1224. The Hatzenstädt organic cheese dairy has been so called since the year 1480. It committed itself to producing high quality products using only regional raw materials at an early stage. The milk from the meadows is transported directly to the cheese dairy by lift.
Tours of the regional Hatzenstädt organic cheese dairy on the Niederndorferberg can be arranged in advance. This also includes a chance to sample the products.

Their motto: “Barriers are there to be overcome”. And they do just that. They have conjured up some exceptional beer creations with Number One, Mountain Pale Ale, Going Hazelnuts and The Padawan. Auracher Löchl | Restaurant and Tradition

Kufstein Fortress behind you, the Inn at your feet and the mountains right in front of your eyes! Numerous culinary opportunities are waiting for you in Auracher Löchl, in the smallest old town in Austria. The restaurant, which has been around since 1409, looks back upon a historic past and even today, in spite of all the modernisation, the core, traditional element of the building has been retained. This is also reflected in the timelessly traditional cuisine. Be indulged with typically Tyrolean meals, farmhouse treats, perfectly seared steaks and seasonal menus.

A special ambience is offered both in the traditional snug in Auracher Löchl Restaurant, as well as in the new Café Franz Josef in Auracher Löchl. Located directly on the Inn and with views to the Pendling, this traditional business provides the optimum space for time-out from the stresses of daily life. Whatever you decide, you can always look forward to dreamy (pleasure-filled) moments.

From nature to the kitchen - swing the wooden spoons!

She is young, she is lively like her whisk and an integral part of high-quality, local gastronomy. Viktoria Fahringer is bubbling with ideas and lives for the enjoyment. A passion that she now passes on in cooking classes. "It is important to me that every participant goes home with the" aha effect "and was able to enjoy cooking even more," says the ambitious head chef at the Tiroler Hof gourmet hostel. What is in season is cooked and is currently available in high quality on the market. You will use what Viktoria Fahringer's allotment has to offer and what grows in the forest and meadows. Apart from the enthusiasm for cooking, there is nothing to be brought along. And if a part of your team has something else in the meantime, you can exchange ideas in the evening with a suitable wine accompaniment.
