Municipal utilities - Kufstein

Stadtwerke Kufstein (Kufstein municipal utilities) was established in 1894 with foundation of the “Städtischen Wasserleitungsanstalt” (municipal water authority). A few years later, electricity and electrical installations were added. Today, the organisation has shares in the companies Kufgem GmbH (100%), Energie West Management- & Service GmbH (10.53%), Top City Kufstein GmbH (50%) and Bioenergie Kufstein GmbH (50%). Stadtwerke Kufstein GmbH is a 100 percent subsidiary of Stadt Kufstein (The City of Kufstein). Kufgem GmbH has been working in IT since 1992. As one of the largest system providers in Austria for public administration and the private sector, Kufgem is a total solution provider that offers a one-stop shop.
