New Year's Concert 2025 - Strauss Fever! Works by Johann Strauss (son), Fritz Kreisler and Kjell Roikjer Strauss fever in the 19th century infected almost everyone: Johann Strauss (father) and his sons Johann, Josef and Eduard were true ‘pop stars’ of their time. With their dance music, they succeeded in thrilling the masses.

The year 2025 will mark the 200th anniversary of Johann Strauss' (son) birth - a special occasion to celebrate him worthily! In the New Year's Concert, the Tyrolean orchestra will enchant you with the most beautiful waltzes, polkas and marches by Johann Strauss, to elegantly enter the jubilee year. Among the pieces on offer: the overture to The Bat, the Champagne Polka, the waltz Voices of Spring and even Cinderella will not be missed. All enriched by surprising and refined virtuosity of the tuba. Bringing this lively musical bouquet to life will be the versatile entertainer and award-winning tubist Andreas Martin Hofmeir and the Viennese Johann Strauss expert conductor Martin Sieghart.
