ARTISTS:INSIDE: HERMANN GLETTLER, MARYAM MOHAMMADI The two artists tackle this highly explosive socio-political and global political topic in very different ways: Hermann Glettler, the Bishop of the Diocese of Innsbruck, who is known for his art education and his own art practice, will be showing individual works from the ‘crossfit’ series as well as a new spatial installation entitled ‘WHOLLY REAL’. He studied art history and theology and explores contemporary themes in his art work (installations, photographic works, etc.). Maryam Mohammadi is a photographic artist from Iran who has been based in Graz for many years and is active internationally. In her photo series ‘über_leben’ and ‘Memories Icon’, she reflects on the effects of revolution and war on her biography.
