Christina Stürmer makes history with MTV Unplugged album Christina Stürmer made history with the release of her MTV Unplugged album in March this year: she is the first female artist in the German-speaking world to release such an album. It was released to coincide with the artist's 20th anniversary on stage. The recordings from the Vienna Volkstheater feature guests such as Mathea, Wolfgang Ambros, Deine Freunde, Ursula Strauss and Sportfreunde Stiller. With over 1.3 million records sold and seven number 1 albums, Christina Stürmer has established herself as one of the most influential artists in German-language pop music. Her career began in 2003 as a finalist in the Austrian casting show "Starmania". 20 years later, the artist can now look back on a musical career that spans half her life and is peppered with numerous successes. On her tour, which includes sold-out shows in Vienna and Salzburg, she will also be playing at the Kultur Quartier in Kufstein on November 4, 2024.
