On Hechenberg in Niederndorf, both visitors and locals revitalise at a special spot: The Wildschütz viewpoint. From the base curve of the Hechenberg toboggan run a small path leads left through beautiful forests to one of the most beautiful places in the village. “Lass nichts Böses in Deinen Gedanken sein!” (Let your thoughts be free of evil) is written on the plaque that greets you on arrival at the beautiful viewpoint.

In the past, couples needed to keep their relationship secret for a while before the parents were allowed to know about it. To avoid suspicion, the girls often went to Wildschütz under the pretext of "knitting with friends". In reality they spent the time with their boyfriends. They sang, played music, laughed and got to know each other. These days the former youth meeting point has become a place of love and thankfulness, as shown by a stone sculpture with engraved quote.
