Exhibitions, readings, hands-on activities for solidarity and togetherness

The town of Kufstein wants to celebrate diversity with 20 events as part of the “Weeks of Diversity”, which are taking place for the 5th time this year in April, May and June. The aim is to create platforms for encounters in order to promote intercultural dialog and thus set an example in society. From the beginning of April to mid-June, Kufstein will be transformed into a place of encounters, openness and dialog as part of the “Weeks of Diversity”. A multifaceted program invites visitors to engage with topics such as inclusion, cultural diversity, social cohesion, democracy and family - and to gain new perspectives in the process. The events range from touching art exhibitions and theater performances to intergenerational readings, film evenings, workshops and exchange formats. There is something for every age and target group. Children, for example, are encouraged in their openness and curiosity through lovingly designed readings and creative hands-on activities, while adults can learn something new during tours, exhibitions and workshops. These many different formats invite people to experience, exchange and grow together. Themes such as equal opportunities on the job market, democratic education, multilingualism and intercultural understanding run like a common thread through the program.
