The impressive scenery of the Kaisergebirge mountains forms the basis for the hiking area on the high plateau from the Brentenjoch to the Steinbergalm. This is where a habitat begins which has been registered as a nature reserve for over 60 years. Here the natural and plant world, the animals and the alpine pasture farming have formed a symbiosis for centuries.
