Manu Delago feat. Mad About Lemon

Snow from Yesterday Tour

The two-time Grammy-nominated composer and percussionist Manu Delago is collaborating with the vocal ensemble Mad About Lemon for his extraordinary new album "Snow from Yesterday" (One Little Independent Records) and is going on a major European tour together. The new album is dynamic, multi-faceted and powerful. Manu Delago's handpan virtuosity is the rhythmic life force of Snow From Yesterday and creates soulful sounds over which the interwoven vocals of Mad About Lemon can spread.

Glacier mountains, rivers and even the smallest drops of water are sung about, and stories are told about journeys and stages in life that connect us with places and people and can have a lasting effect. The Tyrolean musician regularly works with various artists such as Björk, Anoushka Shankar, The Cinematic Orchestra and Olafur Arnalds and has performed as a soloist with the London Symphony Orchestra and the Metropole Orkest, among others. Having performed in over 50 countries, he has also completed two extensive concert tours by bicycle. On the "ReCycling Tour" in 2021 and 2023, his band and crew played around 20 concerts along a 1400 km cycle route, transporting all their equipment in bicycle trailers.

Manu Delago is known for his creative and exciting live concerts. On the upcoming tour, he will be performing with the three singers from Mad About Lemon and Clemens Rofner on bass and synthesiser. All of them not only play various acoustic and electronic instruments, but also contribute shapes and colours to visual works of art that are created live with the music.

Snow From Yesterday travels across endless oceanic expanses and millennia, telling stories that try to see us humans as part of a greater whole. After all, all rivers flow into the sea.
