FUTURO FRAGILE-WHAT IS COMING

FUTURO FRAGILE – WHAT'S COMING Contemporary Photography Stadtgalerie DIA : LOG Kufstein 17.1. to 22.2.2025 Opening 17 January, 7 pm Introduction: Barbara Psenner, Curator of Photographic Art It shows many facets of artistic photography. With their works, the photographers want to address deeper layers of the human being and present alternative designs to what runs across the screen in the news every day. The eight photo series in this exhibition also have different approaches in terms of content - but all of them are based on concern for the future. The topics range from the questionable relationship between humans and animals to the intervention of civilization in nature to the experiences during the pandemic and the threat to Europe posed by the war in Ukraine. The view into the future is unsettling, marked by dark shadows. It is important to break down conventional patterns of thought and ask to what extent we are still capable of acting in a time of multiple crises. The photo group brings together photographers from North and South Tyrol, it has been working in a self-organized way for years and has already initiated several cross-border exhibition projects. Contact: Erika Wimmer Mazohl 0043 664 2621860 or Gallery DIA : LOG Hanna Battisti Andrea Berger Andreas Bertagnoll Georg Erlacher Claudia Fritz Werner Neururer Andrea Maria Trompedeller Erika Wimmer Mazohl
