Enjoy carefree swimming pleasures at the idyllically situated biotope swimming lake. This first biotope lake of its kind was opened in summer 1998. This lake located close to the woods offers our guests not only refreshing adventures in crystal clear waters with drink water quality but is also an opportunity to take a stroll around the lake „Bananensee„ (so-called because of its shape).
Already in 1842 cement has been extracted in Schwoich. At the entrance of the village in the so-called „Russia“ renovated limekilns invite you to a tour.
At the guest house Hirtlhof you have the opportunity to have a look at a rich mineral collection - from amethyst to local garnets.
The church, dedicated to Hl. Ägidius, was expanded in 1974/75 and refurbished by architect Prof. Clemens Holzmeister. In 1991 a Rieger organ was installed. At the vestry wall you can admire a beautiful and modern way of the Cross since 1995.
