You experience amongst others, deer, ibexes and boars at close range. Walk passed lynxes, wildcats, chamois and mountain goats or past rare common ravens and owls. Enjoy a walk through the colourfulness of the peacocks and pheasants or the chirping of domestic wood birds. Especially charming is a winter walk through the wildlife park. At the end of the walkabout there is a play ground for children with game-digger and a children´s motorway.

The secret for specific achievements - above all the world master-crown for the world-beating cheese product of 1990 - is the clear product philosophy of the alpine dairy Hatzenstädt. An insight and a taste of the flavourful harmonies make it clear. Best spring water, silo-free attested milk from the mountain farms and natural calves rennet are the valuable ingredients for Emmentaler and mountain cheese.
The nearby mountain range of the „Kaiser“ captivates big and small summiteers the whole year around. Or explore the cross-border eco-culture-path! That should bring the visitors closer to the interaction of nature, agriculture and culture of an alpine region which is formed by mountain farming . The aim is to inspire the understanding for nature and culture, the life form of mountain farmers, the importance of a healthy diet as a increased appreciation and sensibility in the population, thus bringing a stabilisation of the regional economic power. On several kilometres of length the visitor can experience and discover the typical relation of the border region. The twelve information boards, which give concrete information and explications, offer additional assistance along the app. 5 km long, well signposted path. The whole walk takes about 3 hours - starting point is the alpine daire Hatzenstädt in Niederndorferberg.
